Earn While You Learn (EWYL) - Mentoring Program

Clients in this program meet with a mentor on a weekly basis to learn about a variety of topics such as infant care and nutrition. 

As the name suggests, as clients are learning, they are also earning in house dollars which can use to “buy” needed items from Hope Pregnancy Center's Blessings Room Boutique. Dads are welcome to participate as well.

Workshops 

Workshop classes are held periodically throughout the year - check here for dates. Topics include breastfeeding, labor, and delivery, baby first aid. Participants earn 3 Mommy Dollars or Daddy Bucks.  Door prizes & snacks are provided.  

"Labor and Delivery - Everything You Want to Know, But Afraid to Ask"

Led by Chanda Gulick, R.N. Certified Lactation Consultant

Chanda Gulick has been a registered nurse for over 11 years and specializes in labor and delivery. 

She also offers lactation consultation to new mothers in both hospital and outpatient settings. This is your chance to get answers to all your labor and delivery questions!

"Dr. Dad" Moms welcome too.

Led by Kent Sandquist, P.A.

Kent is a graduate of Fruitland High School and attended TVCC and Umpqua Community College where he obtained his EMT / Paramedic Certifications. He worked as a Paramedic in Payette and Malheur Counties for 8 years before returning to college at U of W to obtain his Physician Assistant Certification. Kent is married and has 2 children.
